About Yaima Diaz Morales

I was born in Cuba where the business environment is very challenging and drives my deep seated desire to succeed at all levels. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish, I also have knowledge in French and Italian as well and I hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Havana. I started my career in Real Estate back in 2013 as Sales and Accommodation agent where I was the first point of contact with prospective buyers and landlords and managed marketing and advertising, responsible also for the showing of properties for sale. After the government decision of cancelling private Real Estate offices, my sister and I started in the Hospitality market by managing our family amaaCuba, a successful Travel Agency, under the direction of my brother in law. Our company reached high levels of acceptance, we used to arrange for our clients a full and authentic Cuban experience, providing them with accommodation, classic cars transportation, dancing classes among other entertainments. At the same time I opened my own business as an Airbnb host with the rental of my house located in Havana downtown. In 2017 I decided to move to Mexico, I lived in different cities such as Isla Mujeres located to the South of Cancun, a true paradise. At the beginning of 2018 I determined myself to come to USA and I requested for political asylum at the border. I went through a long migration process that allows me to enter this country with full benefits and the opportunity to become an american resident to the end of this year, 2019. I'll describe myself as an energetic and ambitious person that appreciates the opportunity to build a career here in the USA. I'm a personal and very diligent, I excel at problem solving, managing and motivating people around me. I'm a fast learner person that loves a challenge and personal accomplishment. I believe in personal and group accountability and can accomplish anything I set my mind to. My passion is to help others to reach their goals by making them my own.
